Entries for the 2011 GH Motorcycle sponsored Eastern Centre Evening series are now available, with the opening round of the championship taking place on the 8th June at Wakes Colne hosted by the Halstead Club. The three round series travels to the Diss Club at Wattisfield for round two on the 13th July before the final round on the 27th July at Blaxhal hosted by the Woodbridge DMCC.
This year each of the three clubs have agreed to increase the prize money to £1000 per round for the 2011 Championship. The increased prize fund means that the top ten riders in the main event and the first three Junior grade riders will grab the main share of the prize fund. The top five in each of the two semi-finals and the top three in the Consolation Final will also be award prize money on the evening.
The Halstead Club still have a number of entries available for the Wakes Colne meeting on the 8th June and any riders wishing to enter can do so be contacting the Halstead Club’s Secretary of the Meeting Sharon Foskew on 01376 517169 or 07950 479165.
With a ten race programme all riders will receive three races in the evening; riders are advised to enter early as entries are limited to 120 riders per meeting. Admission prices for Adults are just £5 per person and with short sharp racing there is sure to be plenty of great racing action during the three meetings.
