Following Day 2 of the Scottish Six Day Trial it is Twenty-four year old Michael Brown on board the Gas Gas that is edging away from the chasing pack. Brown finished the second day with only two marks lost and now holds a single point lead over team mate Dougie Lampkin.
The battle for third place currently sees James Dabill and Ian Austermuhle tied on points with five points down following the opening two days. In fifth place at the end of the second day is Graham Jarvis with six marks dropped across the two days.
Last year’s winner Alexz Wigg on his Sherco was the best rider on the day with a score of only one mark, which sees him move up to sixth overall standings. In the Women’s trophy Emma Bristow maintained her charge at the front as she moved further ahead of her nearest rival Rebekah Cook.
