With persistant rain, the course was reminiscent of the old Beacons enduros of the 70’s held there.
The twinshocks faired as good as the modern machines in the tough conditions but at the end of a hard day just over five seconds separated the leading two riders with David Brick aboard his 250 Suzuki taking the historic win from Husqvarna mounted Jason Fraser.
Fraser will be looking for revenge at the second round which takes place at Broadhembury on the 13th March at the clubs Brass Monkey Enduro.
