THE ACU Trials and Enduro Committee will be running an U23 Enduro Training weekend on the 8&9th Jan 2011, aimed at all U23 riders that are considering putting their names forward for the ACU British U23 ISDE Selection or the ACU U23 Enduro Squad.
The event will by hosted by Team REME at their camp in Bordon, Hants and organised by the ACU British ISDE Team Manager, Dusty Martin.
The weekend will consist of Nutritional, Motivational, Bike Prep and Fitness lectures, and will include a fitness test and the opportunity for an afternoon’s riding on some of the best enduro terrain in the country, with instruction from four time World Champion Paul Edmondson. Accommodation and lunchtime meals will be provided.
The event is aimed primarily at U23s, and will be at no cost to the rider, all that is expected is that attendees can arrive before 0700 on the Saturday with a fully prepared bike and be prepared to put their best efforts into all the activities.
Potential attendees should note that this weekend may be considered when selection to the ACU U23 Enduro Squad is being made.
Applications are to be made strictly by email only on a first come first served basis and up to a maximum of 20 riders. Riders over 23 may apply but will only get places if spaces are not filled by U23 riders.
Emails should be sent to [email protected] detailing applicants name, return email address (if different), date of birth, if the applicant is to accompanied and by whom, details of the type and registration of the vehicle you will be travelling in, any special dietary requirements or reasons why you shouldn’t partake in a weekend of arduous activity.
It is hoped that there will high demand for this event therefore applications will close on 20th December and successful applicants will be notified shortly afterwards.
