Builth Wells Motor Club, Bwlchciliau H&H- Sunday 7th November 2010
Entry forms are now out for Builth Wells Motor Club's popular "Bwlchciliau H&H" on the 7th November 2010. This event, as always, is the final round of the clubs very popular 3 round hare and hound series
The Bwlchciliau course is all based in a forestry and the track is usually some 8 miles in length, although this year it might be slightly longer as the club have been able to use some new loops in the wood which have not been used previously before. The forest has a very hard bottom in most places which allows the club to use this venue quite late in the year. It will all be ridable for all abilities and even if the weather does decide to turn bad on the day they have alternative routes in place which can be used very easily.
Club members have already had a couple of working parties at the venue and clerk of the course - James Rees, has informed us that everything is moving in the right direction and things are looking very good up there. A lot of reinstating has been carried out since last year. The club have had a machine in the forest smoothing over and tidying up several of the rides which should make things a lot better.
The club usualy get a good number of entries for this event, so get your entry form in the post early to avoid disappointment! The closing date for entries is Wednesday 3rd November. No phone entries will be taken before this date and if you do enter later than this it will be £5:00 more at £50:00 and not the usual £45:00! This has to be an incentive to all you riders! It will also make the secretary's job a lot easier if everyone enters by post and will speed up signing on, on the morning of the event.
This is obviously the final round of the 3 round H&H series, so riders who are in a good position in their respective classes should remember to get their entry in as early
