The ACU Trials and Enduro Committee is pleased to announce the riders who have been selected to represent Great Britain in the 2009 Trial des Nations which will be held on the 19th – 20th September in Italy.
The team is made up from an excellent pedigree of young and more experienced riders. Heading the way is multiple world champion Dougie Lampkin. British stars James Dabill and Michael Brown who have been duking it out in the ACU British Solo Championship, will line up as team-mates to represent their country.
The final member of the team is young gun Alexz Wigg who has just picked up the 2009 World Youth Trials Championship and is thrilled to be selected for the team.
The women’s team is equally impressive with Becky Cook, five times British Ladies Champion and current World Number two being joined by Joanne Coles, who like Becky, has also been competing in several of the more male dominated events to improve their level of riding. The final spot on the team goes to Emma Bristow, all three are looking forward to the challenge of the Trial des Nations.
