This weekend the R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R Trophy is supporting the British round of the World Superbike Championship, and the man to steal pole position at this very special event was Ross Connolly.

The Blackpool rider set the pace at the mid point of the session lapping in 1min 42.133secs; he proceeded to drop that down to 1min 41.483secs which was enough for pole.

Second fastest was Tom Gazzard who graced the podium at the opening round of the R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R Trophy, he posted a time of 1min 41.670secs.

Championship rival Mark Cheetham picked up third place with a time if 1min 42.127secs. So far the is season the battle has been between Connolly and Cheetham now it looks like Gazzard will join in.
