No Limits Racing’s season heats up at Donington Park GP!

What a weekend! Heat, drama, last-lap scraps, once again, Donington Park delivered the goods as No Limits Racing rolled into town for Round 2 of the season. It was an incredible weekend of action with some first-time winners and plenty of returning faces as we celebrated a packed 23-race schedule – including The Biker Lawyers Melbourne 750 Endurance!

That’s right! Saturday’s schedule featured yet another endurance race – our second race of the season for The Biker Lawyers Endurance Championships. Although the race was slightly shortened, it was an unforgettable day for H&H Motorcycles Spinarena, with Nathan Harrison and Joe Yeardsley clinching gold overall and in National 1000 after 169 laps. Tr4ck Sl4gs and DART Motorsport completed the podium, while Cerakote UK Moto46 earned National 600 honours. Elsewhere, Randy Racing took an emotional class win in the Team Sport Trophy while Full On Racing claimed P1 in the Team Power Trophy. Finally, Fortis Racing was victorious in the National Twin as KGG Endurance claimed maximum points in the Team Twin Trophy!

Josh Leaning completed the Dunlop NL500 clean sweep at Donington Park, with the #121 sharing the NL500 Elite podium with Max Bartle, James Cottenham, Simon Aldridge, and Luke Hutchison. We were treated to some breathtaking battles throughout as Karl Freeth, Gary Wilson and Ian Keeble took one win apiece in the Senior class. Meanwhile, the NL500 Freshman headlines were created by Paul Beard as he dominated proceedings – making it three from three.

Another rider who impressed throughout was Tommy Fielding, with the Pirelli Super Series Power Trophy star winning all three races at Round 2. Tom Norton and Daniel Stamper followed behind, trading blows as they joined Fielding on the podium. DART Premier Power Cup honours were shared by Steven Duncan and Jack Morgan, whilst Jamie Boyce and Brandon Petty took rostrum results.

Frazer Lysaczenko endured a rollercoaster weekend at Donington but still secured two wins in the Metzeler Freshman Sport Challenge, while Laurie Myers claimed Race 2 and a maiden NLR victory. Jay Orchard-James and the fast-starting Paul Beard also featured on the Sport Challenge podium after an epic three races. In the NL Pre-Injection 600 class, Grant Taylor took the opening two race wins before Carl Vickers bounced back on Sunday. Steve Lester, Chris Neylon and Josh Crawford also took podium finishes following a competitive weekend.

Carrying on his winning streak, Jack Cullin was your Brandfixx Club Power Cup winner as the #97 remains undefeated in 2026! Perry Matterface, Simon Franklin and Kieran Wood kept Cullin honest as they battled for the podium throughout the weekend. Dean Turner also impressed once again, dominating the NL Old School 1k Trophy ahead of Sam Foster, James Leslie and Andy Ashcroft!

Over in the Streetbike Cup, Paul Holden dominated with three class wins, even securing overall victory. Luke Stanley, Paul Gallington, Paul Pridmore and Thomas Drew added class podium finishes further back. Nikki Coates impressed with two overall runner-up finishes, alongside two wins in the Fortis F900R Cup. Andrew Williams claimed the Race 3 class victory, while Rhys Coates and Lee Devonport also featured on the podium. Stephen Mueller, Callum Hirst and James Plummer each won a race in the Club Sport Cup as Karl Beresford sneaked onto Race 2’s podium.

The Next-Gen Sportbikes delivered one of the standout battles of the weekend at Donington and NLR TV, with Lewis Smart, Jacob Stephenson and Harrison Mackay each taking a win as they shared the podium. Trackday Addicts Supertwins success went the way of Lewis Arrowsmith, who took two victories before a Race 3 crash handed Jonathan Perry the win. John Coughlan and Liam Kirk stood on the podium, whilst Steven Costin completed the SORN Cover Stock Twins clean sweep as Blake Didwell, George Doodson and Enzo Tobias Lo Turco all took podium finishes.

Eddy Wormald and Lynden Leatherland took victories in the Pirelli Super Sport Trophy, splitting the silverware in Round 2. Owen Mellor, Kieran Sembiante and Alex Mullaney stood on the podium, with Mellor coming close on multiple occasions for overall victory. Mathew Dawes created headlines too, winning in the NL Premier Sport Cup on three occasions, even winning overall in Race 3 in what was perhaps the BEST race of the season – so far – with the top seven being split by less than four seconds overall… Back in the Premier Sport Cup, Jamie Wilson, George Hadaway and Tommy Phillips all experienced podium results.

Not to forget, the UK Armed Forces Interservice Championship was back in action this weekend with Kieran Wood launching from pole position. However, it was Jack Morgan who took victory for the Army in the sole race of the weekend as Wood finished as runner-up ahead of Dean Turner, the top RAF rider. Liam Sutherland ended the weekend as the top Navy runner as we look ahead to Round 3.

Two rounds down, seven to go: Croft is up next as we head North for more dramatic action on May 29th-31st. Once again, make sure you stay updated across our social media channels, nolimitsracing.co.uk and of course NLR TV! See you in October, Donington, it’s Croft’s time to shine!
