8.50 Bike.

Keith Wright topped the twelve bike field 8.507. In second spot was Reigning Champion Dan De’ath 8.535 closely followed by Jay Roe 8.5360, who just edged Martin Hallett 8.5366. Brad Head was fifth 8.542.  Ian Chrichlow damaged his gearbox (first gear) and was out of competition.

Alex Gordon beat Wright in round one and then lost to Hallett in the next round. Head broke out 8.494 against De’ath in round two. Roe beat Stacey Reed and met De’ath in the semis, were De’ath red lit. Hallett had a bye in the other semi. The race was decided on the start line when Roe had the better rt (042 to Hallett 156) and took the win light 8.605 to Hallett 8.626.

9.50 Bike.

Dave Hall was the number one qualifier 9.501. Reigning Champion Richard Sawatzki was next 9.514 followed by Carl Thomas 9.530 and Rob Stanley 9.5.417. Zoe Hallett had a problem and ran a best of 30.169.

Hallett red lit against Thomas in round one and Stanley also red lit against Sawatzki, who had a bye to the final. Hall pulled red light against Thomas in the semi-finals.  Sawatzki got out the gate first but Thomas got to the finish line first 9.509 to 9.603.

ET Bike.

Liam Holgate led the field 9.622 (dial in 9.62). Nickolas Playdon was making his debut and was the number one qualifier with a out of the trailer 10.452 (10.45) only to be knocked down to number two. Blade King had a Gann slider clutch fitted for this event and ran a personal best of 9.038 (9.03). Reigning Champion Phil Pratt was next 9.055 (9.04) just ahead of Scott Collier 9.677 (9.65). Peter Harrison was out with a broken starter motor. Bill Marsh debut his new bike (Comp Bike) and was doing licence runs. Ryan Davidson is moving over to Funny Bike at the next event.

All top five got through round one. In round two Justin Malton beat Holgate.  Playdon broke out against Carl Hester. King had run his first eight second pass in round one 8.908. Round two he beat Chris Venn who ran a p/b 9.912 on a holeshot. Round three and Hester had a bye run. Pratt broke out against Malton. It was a great race between King and Collier, with King running another p/b 8.882 and rolling the throttle just before the finish line to take the win light. Both riders broke out. King had a bye to the final. Both Malton and Hester broke out with Malton reaching his first final.  Malton great weekend came to an end when he red lit and King ran another p/b 8.876 to take his second win of the season.
