The open motocross planned for 29th June at Cadders Hill, Lyng was to include a Masters Quad class but do to unforeseen circumstances the Quads have had to withdraw their support for the meeting.
In order to make the event viable, the Vikings have added an additional Allcomers (Expert & Juniors) group in addition to the NGR Over 30 Championship. The closing date for entries has been extended until Monday 23rd June to give the additional riders time to get their entries in.
To make the meeting as attractive as possible to prospective riders, an additional race will be added to the programme; a “Super Final” where the top 30 “A” Group will be joined by the top 10 NGR riders overall for an 8 lap shoot out. Therefore the fastest riders on the day will have 4 rides around the demanding Lyng track.
This meeting is being held under an “Open Permit,” which means that any adult ACU Licence holder in the country can enter the meeting, day licences are available at £10 for those that have not yet got a 2014 licence.
There are now more places available in Allcomers class and a few NGR Championship registered riders who have not yet entered, so please get those entries in as soon as possible. The regulations and official entry forms are available in the June edition of the Eastern Centre Gazette which should be available from any Eastern Centre Club or entry forms can be downloaded free at www.easternacu.org, alternatively riders can enter on-line at www.acu.org.uk in the members section.
This meeting will be electronically timed so all machines must have a Mylaps transponder. A limited number are available for hire at £10 but it is best to book these in advance, full details are contained in the regulations.
