This coming Sunday 18th May is Round 3 of the G H Motorcycles/Husqvarna/Eastern Centre Enduro Championship being staged by the Sudbury Motor Cycle Club at Foxborough Quarry Sible Hedingham Essex.
This event is based on the Hare and Hounds format and is split into two separate sessions, the first session is for Clubman and Sportsman Classes and is for two hours starting at 10am while the second session is for the Championship and Expert Classes commencing at 1pm for 2.5 hours.
After the first two rounds 2013 Champion Jamie Roper 29 points leads nine times Champion Chris Hockey 28 points by one point followed by Ricky Roper past Champion 20 points, Jason Morland 19 points and Sam Toy 15 points. Last year’s winner of the Clubman Class Lewis Bond leads the Expert Class with 31 points behind him is Darren Nicolaou and David Stevens both on 20 points, Nick Barrett and Jack Grice on 18 points each and Glenn Walsh on 17 points. Past four times Champion Mark Chapman 37 points leads the Over 40 Expert Class by seven points from Gene Womack and John Bishop followed by Paul Spurgeon 26 points and Graham Mays 22 points.
Dean Goggins on 33 points leads the Clubman Class by one point over the up and coming youngster Ross Taylor while further down the table is William Hughes 20 points and Ben Alexander 15 points. Jason Fowler 37 points has a seven point lead in the Over 40 Clubman Class over Mark Green with Jeff Turner on 24 points, Paul Wright 19 points and Dan Goodwin 15 points.
In the Over 50 Clubman Class Steve Finch 35 points has had his lead reduced to one point by Andy Mason while both Alister McFarquhar and Paul Davis are on 20 points and Clive Stevens on 15 points.
