This year marks the 31st anniversary of the world famous Beach Race at Weston and the organisers, RHL Activities, are determined that the 2013 event will be bigger and better than ever.
As always, the racing on the infamous Weston dunes course will be the centrepiece of the event, with all classes already filling up fast as riders sign up to take on this unique challenge. And what a challenge it is!
But we mustn’t forget the people behind the scenes, not only the RHL Team who work so hard at making the event a success, but the companies that put in time and money to support us
This year sees the return of Monster for their 3
rd year of Sponsoring the Beach Race. The popular Energy drink brand will be onsite with their Monster rig which is always action packed with, free stickers, Monster girls, Music and as always a cold can of Monster. Also this year Belgium Fred Crosset will be onsite to with his FMX trial demo.
This year Hawk Plant will be sponsoring us, Hawk Plant is one of the largest independent plant hire companies in the UK. Hawk have developed their business over the last 40 year “We have focussed on ensuring we improve and enhance the range of services we are able to offer, providing a specialist service to all of our clients” says Paul Pitney Depot Manager “We are looking forward to working with RHL Activities this year at this prestigious event” Hawk Plant will be sponsoring all of Sunday's races, including the three-hour feature race which starts at 1:30pm
RHL Activities are also pleased to announce the return of Buildbase, one of Europe's fastest growing builder’s merchants.
"We're very pleased to be able to welcome back such an established and well regarded brand as Buildbase to the Weston family, and this year they will be sponsoring all of Saturday’s racing” declared Gareth Hockey.
Long term sponsor Ice Valley Water has continued to offer its support for the race this year following a five year relationship and the highly recognised water company will be supplying RHL Activities’ staff with hydration throughout the event. The mineral water supplier has been involved with a number of motorsport initiatives and is once again looking forward to teaming up with RHL for another huge event at Weston.
