Seven Three Events is delighted to announce Michelin’s continued support as Primary Partner for X-Trial Leeds, which returns to the First Direct Bank Arena on Saturday 23 January 2027.
Following a memorable inaugural event, the FIM X-Trial World Championship will once again bring the world’s leading Trial riders to Leeds for an evening of spectacular riding and intense competition.
The famous tyre brand supported all three editions of the DL12 Indoor Trial before helping launch X-Trial Leeds in 2026. Its involvement provides a strong foundation as the event builds towards its second edition.
Michelin’s presence will again be felt on the arena floor, with the imposing Michelin Mountain section returning in modified form as part of a refreshed course. With half the sections completely new for 2027, the riders will face a demanding combination of familiar obstacles and fresh challenges.
All eight of the internationally acclaimed riders confirmed to date are Michelin riders, headed by forty times world champion Toni Bou. The lineup also includes Gabriel Marcelli, Jaime Busto, Matteo Grattarola, Miquel Gelabert, Arnau Farre plus Leeds-born brothers Harry and George Hemingway.
For Seven Three Events, Michelin’s support continues a partnership built through years of indoor Trial competition. The relationship brings together an organiser committed to delivering a memorable spectator experience and a manufacturer closely associated with the sport’s highest levels.
Trials place exceptional demands on riders and their tyres. Grip, accurate control and predictable response are essential as competitors tackle seemingly impossible obstacles. Michelin’s Trial Competition X11 and Trial X Light Competition tyres are designed to meet those demands.
Speaking on behalf of Seven Three Events Jake Miller explained the importance of this ongoing partnership: “Obviously we are delighted to continue our strong relationship with Michelin. As a truly global brand that stretches way beyond offroad motorcycling Michelin’s presence, support and involvement adds value to the event on multiple levels. Having the opportunity to showcase their product in action and being used by the World’s best riders where thousands of fans can witness first-hand the outstanding performance of their tyres over such a demanding course and especially on the Michelin section is a win win situation for all involved.”
Cate Keenan, Marketing Director at Michelin UK said: “X-Trial is a fantastic showcase for what our tyres are capable of. The precision, balance and control these riders demonstrate as they tackle some of the sport’s toughest obstacles is incredible, and tyre performance plays a vital role in every move they make. We’re proud to support the world’s best riders at X-Trial Leeds and to bring fans closer to the action for another year. We’re looking forward to seeing what they can achieve on the Michelin section in 2027!”
Away from the competition, Full Access ticket holders can enjoy Trial Expo, paddock access and a floor-level course preview, offering an opportunity to appreciate the scale of the sections before the action begins. X-Trial Leeds takes place on Saturday 23 January 2027, with Full Access entry from 2pm and the main event starting at 5pm.
