Italian Trial star Matteo Grattarola has become the seventh rider confirmed for X-Trial Leeds, as the spectacular indoor event returns to the First Direct Bank Arena on Saturday 23 January 2027.
The ever-present Beta Factory Trial Team rider brings another headline name to an already impressive line-up in Leeds.
Grattarola enjoyed another strong season in 2026, finishing fourth in the FIM TrialGP World Championship for the second consecutive year. The Italian also remains a regular contender at the highest level of X-Trial competition, adding further podium finishes to his impressive record during 2026.
Known for his technical ability and wealth of experience, Grattarola will bring another dimension to the Leeds line-up when he takes on some of the biggest names in the sport inside the First Direct Bank Arena and bids to make it through to the final on this occasion having missed out earlier this year.
His confirmation takes the 2027 rider line-up to seven, joining Toni Bou, Jaime Busto, Gabriel Marcelli, Harry Hemingway, George Hemingway and newly crowned Trial2 World Champion Arnau Farre.
The riders will face a significantly refreshed course for 2027, with half of the sections completely new, alongside updated versions of established favourites including S3, Red Bull and Michelin.
With seven of the eight riders now confirmed, the line-up for X-Trial Leeds 2027 is almost complete, with just one more rider still to be announced very soon.
