Team GB battles on Day Four of the 2026 6DAYS

Team GB continued to battle challenging conditions on Day Four of the 2026 FIM 6DAYS Enduro of Nations in Grândola, Portugal, with a revised race format introduced to help manage the persistent dust.

Riders completed just one lap featuring three special tests, with the start interval extended to one minute per rider instead of three riders setting off at a time. The changes provided more time between riders on the tests and offered a better solution to the difficult visibility, although it remained a short day of racing.

Brad Freeman enjoyed a strong start, sitting third overall after the first two tests. However, an unfortunate crash in the final test cost him around 10 seconds, dropping him to fifth overall. With no further tests remaining, he had no opportunity to recover the lost time. Nathan Watson finished 12th overall, while Jed Etchells placed 46th.

Lucy Barker delivered a strong performance in the Women’s Trophy, finishing sixth in class, with Rosie Rowett taking 11th.

In the Junior Trophy, Callum Hughes finished 22nd, followed by Sam Hughes in 26th.

With two days of competition remaining, Team GB will continue to push for strong individual results as the 100th edition of the 6DAYS enters its final stages.
