Cheshire Grasstrack Club is delighted to confirm that the British Masters International Grasstrack Meeting, promoted on behalf of the Auto Cycle Union (ACU), will now take place at Lower Marsh Farm, Station Road, Much Hoole, Preston Lancashire, on Sunday 13 September 2026.
Lower Marsh Farm is a venue with a rich Grasstrack heritage, having hosted numerous meetings since 1993. The circuit is perhaps best remembered as the host venue for the 2003 British Grasstrack Championship, with this year's British Masters set to be staged on the very same field.
An official ACU Track Inspection was carried out on 25 July, with inspectors expressing satisfaction with both the condition of the ground and the layout of the circuit ahead of the event.
The venue has played an important role in developing talent within the sport, providing an early platform for many riders who later achieved success at national level. Riders familiar with the Much Hoole track include James Shanes, Jack Roberts, Mickie Simpson and Luke Harris. The venue also holds special significance for Paul Cooper, who celebrated his first 350cc British Championship title there.
