ACU Kickstart Women Trials Training & Trial Returns to Rockfield – Saturday 5th & 6th September 2026
Following two highly successful events earlier this year, ACU Kickstart Women Trials returns on Saturday 5th September 2026 at Rockfield, Monmouth, in association with Gloucester and Cotswold Motorcycle Club.
The ACU Kickstart Women Trials initiative has been created to encourage more women and girls into the sport of motorcycle trials while supporting existing riders to develop their skills and confidence. As part of the wider ACU Kickstart Programme, the day offers high-quality coaching from experienced ACU Registered Coaches in a welcoming and supportive environment.
The training day is open to female riders only, with coaching groups available for:
* Youth riders
* Adult riders
* Complete beginners
* Club riders
* Experienced competitors
Whether you’re riding your very first trial or looking to build on your existing skills, our experienced coaching team will help you gain confidence, improve your technique and enjoy your riding.

The coaching doesn’t stop on Saturday!
On Sunday 6th September, riders of all ages and all abilities are invited to take part in the Fun Trial, held at the same venue.
Designed to complement the training day, the Trial provides the perfect opportunity to put newly learned skills into practice in a relaxed and welcoming competition environment.
With routes and sections suitable for everyone—from complete beginners taking part in their first event through to riders wanting to challenge themselves on TrialGB standard sections—there is something for every rider.
The Sunday Trial also forms part of the development pathway into the Official ACU TrialGB Championship, particularly for those looking to progress into the Women and Girls categories. It offers riders the opportunity to gain valuable competitive experience, build confidence and measure their progress before stepping up to national-level competition.
Whether your goal is simply to enjoy a great day’s riding, prepare for the final rounds of the current TrialGB season, or begin your journey towards the Women’s and Girls Championship, Sunday’s event is the perfect next step.
Camping is available on site, making it easy to enjoy a full weekend of riding, learning and socialising with the trials community.
Important Information
* Environmental Mats are mandatory under the ACU Environmental Code whenever refuelling or carrying out maintenance on motorcycles. If you don’t have one, simply speak to an event official who will be happy to assist.
* Riders with long hair are encouraged to follow FIM Technical Rule §D.32 by securing their hair in a bun or braid tucked into their riding gear.
