Britain’s Jack Peace achieved a career best result in Andorra last weekend when he took third spot just a few weeks before he will have the chance to repeat the same feat at his home event – TrialGP Anglesey that will take place from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July at the incredible Trac Mon circuit Anglesey.
This was the first time in almost a decade that a British rider has finished on the podium in the top category, with James Dabill being the last Brit to do so in late May 2017 at Motegi, Japan.
Peace, the twenty-six-year-old from Scarborough put on a strong showing throughout the two days of competition in the mountains of Andorra, taking fifth place on the opening day before then delivering a sensational performance the following day to step on the podium beside the legendary Toni Bou and his Repsol Honda teammate and Spanish compatriot Gabriel Marcelli.
Whilst Spain’s top riders enjoyed local advantage at the second round of the series, it will be Jack and his fellow Brits who will be looking to reap the full benefit of riding on home soil next month, when they hope they can count on the support of the British fans as they aim to topple their foreign rivals and make it truly a weekend to remember at this stunning venue.
