Bikers attending Moto Fest – the ultimate motorcycle festival – at Trac Mon Circuit Anglesey from Friday 24 – Sunday 26 July can also enjoy what can only be described as biking heaven.
The Isle of Anglesey Coastal Circular Scenic Route – view route here – is one of Britain’s finest road rides, offering motorcyclists a spectacular journey around the island on a varied mix of flowing coastal roads, open countryside stretches and characterful harbour towns.
Largely following the A5025 while linking many of Anglesey’s most scenic coastal roads, the route is designed for relaxed, rewarding riding rather than high-speed intensity—perfect for enjoying the scenery and the rhythm of the road.
Riders can expect sweeping coastal bends, gentle elevation changes and excellent visibility, particularly along the north and east coasts where the road closely follows the shoreline. The scenery changes constantly, from the rugged cliffs and sea stacks of South Stack to the sweeping bays and sandy beaches around Benllech and Red Wharf Bay, before continuing through peaceful rural landscapes bordered by traditional stone walls and farmland.
The circular nature of the route makes it easy to join at various points and tailor the distance to suit your day. Along the way you’ll find plenty of opportunities to stop at cafés, seaside pubs, beaches and spectacular viewpoints, many just a short walk from convenient parking areas.
Anglesey’s roads are ideally suited to relaxed touring, and riders are encouraged to take their time, remain aware of changing coastal weather, wildlife and agricultural traffic, and simply enjoy the journey. Whether completed in a single day or explored over several shorter rides, the Anglesey Coastal Circular Route offers a memorable motorcycling experience combining smooth roads, breathtaking scenery and the island’s unique character.
