Canada Heights is set to host Round 4 of the World Sidecarcross & Quadcross World Championships on May 30/31st. The British Sidecar GP returns to the iconic hillside venue for the first time in 25 years. Hosted by Waterloville
MCC the trilogy is complete with visits to both Cusses Gorse & Foxhill in previous years.
Thanks go to Sidcup MCC for the use of their fantastic venue & allowing for a few changes to improve the layout for Sidecars & Quads. The venue last hosted a Grand Prix back in 2000 & 2001.
Talking of the past,a fantastic line up of past masters have been assembled to entertain the crowds with racers & machines from yesteryear.
The British charge in the GP sidecar class will be led by World Number 3 Brett Wilkinson and Joe Millard.
The veteran crew arrive having had a mixed start to the season & will be looking to turn things around on home soil.
The young British / German team of Dan Foden & Noah Weinman will be looking to add to their Championship tally after a fantastic double win in the last GP in Germany. They will have to try & beat the fast out the gate team of Mike Hodges & Ryan Henderson to turn 1.
As well as these GP regulars 8 more British teams will be looking to make it through qualifying to make it Sundays Championship races . So get behind them all & make a partisan atmosphere from your chosen trackside vantage point.
Previous to visiting Canada Heights the World Championships have visited France, the Czech Republic and Germany. The French Pair of Evan & Killian Prunier were unstoppable in France with a dominant performance.
The visit to the Czech Republic saw Ben Van den Bogaart return from retirement & team up with ex World Champion Marvin Vanluchene & a double win was secured.
Round 3 in Germany saw another double win this time for Team Foden, so who will be taking the top step at Canada Heights with another double win ??
The weekends on track action will not be limited to sidecars either. The World Quadcross Championship joins the programme, with reigning European champion Harry Walker looking to claim a place on the podium. Alongside him will be plenty of British & Irish riders looking for to put on a show for the home supporters.
