Rosie Rowett claims Women’s Enduro win
Day two of the Expotrade Women’s Enduro class marked another victory for RIEJU Factory Team, this time with Rosie Rowett taking the top step of the podium. The Brit showed today that she has recovered from her knee injury and is ready to fight for wins. Winning all but the opening GMOTO Enduro Test, she took the win by a very commanding 27 seconds.

ET James Sherco UK’s Nieve Holmes made it a British 1-2, finishing as the runner-up. Holmes was the rider to deny Rowett a clean sweep of special test wins. After a mixed start to her day, RIEJU Factory Team’s Rachel Gutish upped her pace during the closing stages of the race to finish just 1.43 seconds behind Holmes in third.

A stronger day two saw Italy’s Sara Traini (Triumph) hold off France’s Lorna Lafont (Husqvarna) to take fourth, with Lafont completing the top five. Traini also beat Lafont to win the Expotrade Junior Women’s Enduro category by 3.67 seconds.
