New Position For Colas Grandstand

Tuesday July 5, 2022 at 10:23am

The Colas Grandstand was erected at Ballakeighan Corner in 2018 and 2019 with plans in place for the following year, which as everyone knows did not happen, neither did 2021.

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races return in 2022, as does the Colas Grandstand.

With crops having been sown at Ballakeighan, the field is unavailable however the Colas Grandstand will now be situated at Iron Gate which will provide spectators with a magnificent view as the competitors approach from Ballakeighan, pass Iron Gate over the railway bridge and on to Ballanorris (Joeys Gate).

Access is only available whilst the roads are open, enjoy Free Parking, refreshments and toilet facilities at this new viewing position.

Ticket Prices will be in line with the three Grandstand, organised by Southern 100 Racing at the Start-Finish on the Bypass: Castletown Corner and the Nicholson Grandstand at the Holding – Podium Area.

Tickets available on the day priced at:

Monday Evening- Practice £ 5.00

Tuesday Evening - Practice & 2 Races £ 5.00

Wednesday Evening - 4 Races £10.00

Thursday – Championship Day: £15.00 - Morning 4 Races - Afternoon 4 Races
