Friday May 21, 2021 at 8:45am

First Minister Mark Drayford has announced the further easing of restrictions as Wales moves to Covid alert level two.

The Welsh Government has announced that up to 30 people can participate in organised indoor activities and up to 50 people in organised outdoor activities.

For motorcycle sport, this means that an event can have up to 50 competitors as a maximum and it is confirmed that signed on Officials are not included in the count of 50.  Any event that includes youth competitors, a competitor aged 12 years and over will be included in the 50 maximum, but those competitors aged 11 years and younger are not included.

A pilot scheme has commenced to allow the return of crowds up to 1000 people at a number of sporting and cultural events, these include some sporting events and various festivals.  Those events that have been selected for pilot events will have been notified and liaison with the event organisers to ensure strict protocols are in place.

The Welsh Government has confirmed that International travel will resume.

Further updates will be distributed in accordance with UK Government Advice/Guidance.
