As the closing date for entries for the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races approaches, organisers Southern 100 Racing are encouraged by the number of entries received so far for the thirteen-race programme which takes place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8th, 9th, 10th & 11th July 2019.
With races for Superbike, Supersport, Supertwins and TT Spec F2 Sidecars, including the Sidecar Championship, a 600cc Challenge Race and the prestigious Solo Championship race total entries received to date are 110 which compares favourably with last year in the classes being run in 2019.
In addition to riders from the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Eire, Wales, Scotland and England, entries have also been received from Austria, Belgium, France and Russia.
Current and previous Champions and race winners are expected to be in the final entry list when published.
Southern 100 Racing look forward to welcoming old and new friends to the ‘friendly races’
to enjoy the close exciting mass-start racing that the 4.25 mile Colas
Billown Course has become famous for since the first races in July 1955.
