British 1000cc Left Hand Sidecar Championship
The Track Racing Committee made the decision to split the Left-Hand Sidecar Championship from the National championships for 2019. The reason behind this was due to the fact that in 2018 only 8 left hand sidecars entered the championship.

In past years the Left-Hand Sidecar Competitors have requested that their part of the British Championship could be organised in the South Eastern Centre, depending upon the location of the organising club for the British championship.

The Track Racing Committee of the ACU have been happy to facilitate this request, and as last year only 8 left hand sidecars entered the championship the Track Racing Committee offered the Left-Hand Sidecar class to Frittenden in the hope that the minimum number of 12 entries would be received to help safeguard the future of this important and historical class.

The organisers of the British Championship (500cc Sidecar Association) have asked if they can be allocated the Left-Hand Sidecar Championship class as they would like to present the full range of British Championship classes at their event.

The Track Racing Committee have agreed to this request, but with a recommendation that if a full compliment of 12 Left Hand have not entered for the event by the closing date the participation of the class in the event will be reviewed.
