The Mid Sussex MCC Awards Presentation recently took place at The Copthorne in West Sussex. During the evening many of the club’s champions were crowned, with a large number of awards and trophies handed out to the various winners.
On hand to do the presentations was 2017 Maxxis British Champion and MXGP rider Graeme Irwin who spent time congratulating each award winner on their achievements during the season.
Also on hand to receive a special award from the Mid Sussex MCC was ACU Motocross Committee member Dave Edwards who received the Sports Ambassador of the Year award. The award is in recognition of the hard work, assistance and help that he has offered to the club and sport in general during the past seasons.
After receiving the award Dave Edwards commented by saying ‘Obviously it is a very proud moment for myself and is very humbling. But for me the real reward is keeping the sport going with riders competing regularly. This was a very welcomed award to receive and I must thank the club for their recognition’
