Frittenden & DMCC Ltd proudly presents the 'Battle of Britain' Motorcycle Grasstrack Racing on Sunday 27th May 2018.
We are ready for an exciting afternoon of non-stop action for our first meeting of 2018! A whole host of top riders have entered our first meeting of 2018, the standout names in solo solo classes includes Eastbourne Eagles trio Charlie Brooks, Charley Powell & Georgie Wood, & Aussie Alex Davies. Top names featuring in the spectacular 1000cc Right Hand Sidecars include Multi-Masters Champions Mark Cossar/Carl Blyth, Rod Winterburn/Billy Winterburn, Paul Whitelam/Alan Elliott, Colin Blackbourn/Carl Pugh & Rob Wilson/Bradley Steer. Dave Mears & Mark Giles look to lead the charge in the 350cc Solo class. Add in the classic Upright solo class, Left Hand Sidecars and the European 500cc Sidecars, which feature the former European Champion Josh Goodwin/Liam Brown, it's going to be a bumper day of racing. All classes will feature fast paced 4 lap heats, followed by the fantastic 6 lap finals!
If you've never been to grasstrack, the pits are open to all and you are able to get up close to the riders and machines.
At the conclusion of the meeting will be the usual podium presentation, which we would love you all to stay and cheer the winners of the day.
The club also has the usual amenities including hot food and a beer tent on the Sunday, face painting by Sweet Cheeks & Sweet Treats sweet stall.
Stay for the weekend with FREE weekend camping from Midday Friday 25th May, along with fresh water and flush toilets.
Venue: Sandhurst Bridge Farm, Frittenden, Kent. Sat Nav: TN17 2ED. There will be yellow grasstrack signs on the roads near to the track, please follow these as the sat-nav will take you to the farm and not the track.
