Unfortunately, we are sorry to have to announce that the meeting at Owslebury on March 30th (Good Friday) will now no longer be a round of the Kamar ACU Clubmans Championship, due to some issues regarding the entry criteria.
The permit for the track is 30 and the club are running a round of the Southern Centre Championship too. Unfortunately, following lengthy discussion between the Club, the SMCA and the ACU, a mutual agreement could not be reached.
The Club insisted on a "first come, first served" policy on entries and with 47 registered teams, and non clubman teams wanting to ride the SMCA decided that if clubman teams didn't have priority on entries some registered teams may miss out on an entry. This would compromise the integrity of the Championship.
The Winchester club have always welcomed sidecars at their circuit and the meeting is still running so please continue to support this event.
Due to this decision, the spare date we have at Toddington will now be used, hosted by the Luton motorcycle club as the final round of the championship.
