Friends Provident International Teams Up With Southern 100 Racing
Southern 100 Racing and Friends Provident International are pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached between the two organisations for ‘Friends Provident International’ to become a partner in 2018 in the races held on the Billown Course in the Isle of Man, which is home to ‘the friendly races’.

Castletown based Friends Provident International are to sponsor the Grandstand at the Start – Finish on the Castletown By-pass and will be branded accordingly.

In addition, Friends Provident International will also become a Race Title Sponsor of the Junior (350cc) Classic Race in the Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races, which open the annual TT Festival.

Managing Director (IOM) & COO, Steven Weston said: ‘We are delighted to be supporting the Southern 100 & Pre TT-events again this year. As a major employer in Castletown it’s great to see the great spirit and energy it brings into Castletown and because of our location on Arbory Road we have the racing right on our doorstep.

‘Many of our staff will be enjoying the atmosphere and the races and will be proud to see the Friends Provident International name associated with it.’

George Peach, Race Secretary responded saying: ‘Friends Provident International have been involved with the Southern 100 for quite a while, assisting in the background and it is excellent that a major Castletown business is becoming a main partner supporting not only the Southern 100 International Road Races, but also our other two events, the Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic and the Radcliffe’s Butchers Post TT Road Races.

Southern 100 Racing thank Steven Watson and his team for their increased involvement, which will further enhance the race fans experience and we look forward to a long partnership.’
