It is with much regret that we must report that former ACU Trials and Enduro Committee member and Eastern Centre stalwart passed away at the age of 90 on Thursday 26th October.
Derek passed away peacefully at his home in Fordham, near Colchester, Essex. He been a very good friend to all within motorcycle sport and was a Castle (Colchester) member for over 70 years and served as President.
Within the Eastern Centre he served on the Executive and Competitions Committee and was its President for 30 years then became Life Vice President.
He also served on the ACU Trials and Enduro Committee and was involved with the National Rally and was Honorary Member of the Auto Cycle Union.
These are only some of the things Derek did and we owe him a debt of gratitude.
