Crewe and South Cheshire host Round one at Tonfanau on April 16th

Wednesday April 5, 2017 at 4:09pm
There will a line-up of over 20 50cc racing machines for the Crewe and South Cheshire club’s opening round of the four-meeting 2017 season at Tonfanau on Sunday, April 16. This year there will three championships for the little bikes to participate in.

As well as the opening round of the organising club’s 50cc championship, the meeting will be round two of the Racing 50 club’s own series, with classes for open and air-cooled machines.

In addition, this year sees the return of the National ACU Championship, a totally separate event, wholly run and administered by the ACU, split into two sections for classic machines as in the above championships and Freetech machines.

This meeting will be the first of six points’ scoring rounds for the National ACU series.

There will also be the usual mix of modern, classic and Forgotten Era solo machine championship races and sidecars at this popular Welsh circuit.

Practice starts at 9.00am, with racing underway at noon. Adult admission is £6.
