Round 2 of The ACU British Extreme Enduro Championship heads to Cowm Leisure
With less than three weeks to go until the second Eddy’s Xtreme Enduro of the year, on February 7th, the entry for the Cowm Quarry event has gone crazy and is already over half full. Even some bloke called Jonny Walker has now put his name down!

Seriously, Walker’s confirmation that he will be on the Pro start line alongside David Knight has really kicked the event up a gear. Walker won at Cowm last year and Knighter just hammered everyone at Tong, which translates into a battle royal at Cowm this time around. Jonno Richardson and Billy Bolt both made good starts to the extreme season and Ben Hemmingway’s third place podium at Tong showed he can fight it out with the best anytime, anywhere.

When you hear about the proverbial ‘rock and a hard place’ well Cowm Quarry is both rolled into one. It gives the term ‘technical’ a whole new meaning and is well liked by the rock-hopping ex-Trials riders who have made the transition to extreme enduro but Knighter is an animal on the really hard stuff and will definitely be looking for his second win of the year but on last season’s performance Walker will be looking for a repeat result. It’s gonna be great to watch!

If you are considering riding at Cowm, get your entry in asap. Veterans, Sportsman, and Youth 13-16 in the morning race and Pro, Expert and Clubman in the afternoon race.
