CARLESS OUT TO EXTEND PRO EXPERT LEAD AT LITTLE SILVER
This Sunday September 20th the Phoenix Tools/Ifly Premier motocross Championship makes its way back in to Devon to Little Silver Moto Parc, Exeter which will host round 8 of the ten round series.

In the Phoenix Tools/Ifly Pro Expert class Championship leader on the Oakleaf Motorsport Honda (Pictured No 68) Shane Carless will be looking for a better result than the last round where Jamie Skuse on the Tony Maunders Racing Suzuki cut his Championship lead to just 28 points and Skuse will be out to haul a few more back for sure. Unfortunately there are a few top runners absent in the Pro class as they are away on other commitments, so things for sure will change in the top 6 standings, but there is still plenty of talent lining up like Tom Moore on the A D Homes / Williams Wulfsport Suzuki, Ross Keyworth on the Maple Scaffolding / Meredith Suzuki, Kelvin Townsend on the Tony Maunders Racing Suzuki and wildcard and recently crowned 2015 AMCA MX1 British Champion Luke Dean on the Meredith Suzuki plus many more.

In the Tony Maunders Expert Championship it couldn’t be any closer with three rounds remaining. Charlie Putnam on the Phoenix Tools Ifly Husqvarna goes in to round 8 with just a 11 points advantage over the Danger UK Husqvarna of David Keet who has been in top form recently and he will be one to watch at Little Silver, as will the newly crowned 2015 Perelli Masters Amateur MX1 Champion Ben Butler on the D S C Cornwall Kawasaki who is no stranger to this venue as he sits there in 4th in the standings just 4 points behind the Tony Maunders Racing 2-stroke KTM of James Kensington, but there is plenty of other talent lining up like Jake Penny, Sam Gabriel, Luke Sturgeon and wildcard Loukas Maggio plus many more.

In the M D Racing over 35 Class it’s still the Gibbs performance / St Blazey Yamaha rider Nick Life who heads the Championship, but moving back up in to 2nd at the last round has come the Readypower KTM of Rick Hanson with Stephen Elford on the Gabriel Insulation Services Honda back in 3rd just 6 points adrift with Carl Dezis there in 4th with Jamie Deadman pushing to take that 4th spot just 12 points behind on the Gibbs Performance KTM. In the Over 40’s class it’s now Chris Brown who switched from Honda to a Cheddar Mx Store Kawasaki at the last round who heads the standings by 45 points from Terry House on the Crescent / New Milton Tyres Suzuki who missed the last round and will be looking to regain that lead. In the Over 50’s its defending Champion Mark Gleadhill who heads the standings, but moving up in to 2nd at the last round has now come Adrian Toy with Graham Beale dropping back down in to 3rd 16 points behind Toy.

In the Tyremarks Junior Championship class the question will be asked again, can anyone stop the young Jamie Carpenter on the Phoenix Tools Ifly Husqvarna who has been on top form as late and showed what a top class rider he is. Moving up in to 2nd at the last round has come Welsh wizz kid Jay Lewis on the Tony Maunders Racing KTM (Pictured No 26) with Billy King now in 3rd, but as with other rounds there is plenty of other talent on view as well as many wildcards.

Little Silver Moto Parc is one of the Premier tracks in the South West and has excellent viewing with easy parking and will be signposted off the end of the M5 Motorway (Sat Nav EX6 7UD) with the first race at 10-30am. (There are still a few spaces left in all classes, for more info ring Greta on 01884 840078)
