ACU Ladies and Girls British Trials Championship - Bracken Rocks
The ACU Ladies and Girls British Trials Championship titles are now in the Manx melting pot. Half the eight scoring classes will be resolved on the Isle of Man in two weeks when the Isle of Man Youth Trials club stage the final two trials of the series. Of those four classes up for grabs the margins that top the classes are less than ten points.

In the Adult class Emma Bristow produced a brilliant victory at Bracken Rocks on Sunday to close up to class leader Becky Cook. The MRS Sherco teamster missed the June 7 trial due to her American trip but she now has a luxury of a drop score – dropped.

Class A Barnsley’s Megan Savage is in exactly the same situation with Silsden SXS Jotagas rider Gabby Whitham lurking just eight points behind. Youth B Didcots’s Alicia Robinson heads the Class but Sophie –May Hardie may plant her Juan Knight Gas Gas well up the Manx two day results.

The famed Waterfall featured at the three where Jess Bown was the only front runner to blast straight up the steps and cobbles. No hopping and bopping for the local contender, Jess just motored up. Elizabeth Tett and Daisy Parsons cleaned in Class C while in Class B Sophie Hardy and Kira Beardsall post first lap cleans. After the first lap Emma was looking good while Daisy Parson, Alicia Robinson and Beth Waite were holding the right cards in their classes although Kaytlyn Adshead was right on Daisy’s case just two dabs in arrears..

The only downside was that the Manx riders had a ferry to catch at Liverpool at 6.00 pm and missed the awards presentation.

What will happen in Manxland in a fortnight?
