What to expect in the build up to the 32nd RHL Weston Beach - Countdown begins
In 3 weeks time the roar of hundreds of bikes will descend onto the Weston Super Mare beach front for the 32nd edition of one of the world’s most famous off-road races.

In the build up to this year’s RHL Weston Beach Race, the week is jam packed with events and activities starting on Tuesday October 14 with our Press and Media Day, where not only press from all media outlets attend, but the day plays host to the RHL annual schools and media day.  It is an opportunity for press to photograph and interview Organisers and participating riders, whilst local schools and colleges enjoy the experience of participating alongside professionals within their chosen field. The day comprises of a photo and picture session, along with a Q&A forum with the local students from Weston College.

On Wednesday October 15th we host an afternoon of tea and cake with local residents from the Weston area in our wonderful VIP hospitality unit, its normally a good time to chat about years gone by, meet and greet some of the team behind the event, whilst at the same time enjoy free tea and cake, which always goes down well with everyone who attends.  Spaces are limited and anyone wishing to attend should email penny@rhlactivities.com to book your space

Thursday October 16 is ‘Corporate Day’ a time to meet the RHL Weston Beach Race sponsors and companies involved with this year’s event, we also show them around the circuit for the first time and generally have a fun few hours relaxing in the VIP hospitality unit.

Friday October 17 RHL are also pleased to announce the David Knight training opportunity, with limited spaces available to attend this very first training day hosted by the legendary David Knight, who will be participating in both the Solo and Quad races.  Friday is one of the busiest days of the whole event, its time for the riders to collect their entry packs and transponders and go through the scrutineering process. Registration is open between 9-5 and sees over 45 members of staff working within this one section of the event, ensuring the riders are all looked after.   The trade Village, along with bars and catering units will also be open on the lawns and the response this year has been very high, with many traders missing out on the limited space available.  .

Gareth Hockey of RHL Activities:
“Myself and the team here at RHL have been working really closely with the local community to bring you some great features during the build-up week on the RHL Weston Beach Race. Our Press Day which has grown and grown over the years, sees us coupling with local Colleges again this year to bring the youth of today into the forefront of the action.
We truly enjoy working with the local community and hope that this relationship will continue to grow for many years to come.”
