British Sidecar and Quad Championship Finale Head to Canada Heights
The final round of the 2014 Maxxis British Sidecar Motocross championships will take place at the Sidcup Clubs spectacular Canada Heights circuit on Sunday 5th October.

Although the title has already been won by defending champions, Stuart Brown / Josh Chamberlain, the battle for the minor placing’s is still very much on.

Currently in second place are the Millard brothers, Daniel and Joe, just one point in front of Brett Wilkinson / Steve Kirwin. Both these teams have had mechanical problems during the season but if everything holds together for both of them it should be a real scrap for second place.

Mathematically in with a chance of a podium finish are Nick Jarvis / Ryan Humphrey but it would need exceptionally poor results for those above for this to happen.

Others to look out for are ex AMCA champion, Simon Bradford / Luke Peters, and Jack Etheridge / Scott Grahame.

Once again there are three teams making the long trek over from Ireland. In the championship standings Campbell / Graham are currently ninth and the only female driver, Emma Moulds, with her passenger Niki Adair in 18th place.

In addition to the three sidecar championship races there will be the final round of the Cromwell Trucks British Quad Championship. A full line up of 35 quads has entered the event and after a thrilling season, which has seen five different winners at the five rounds so far, there still nine riders who can mathematically take the title.

Favourite and the current champion leader is Paul Winrow from Birmingham, who is 42 points ahead of Reading's Carl Bunce and Northern Ireland's rising star Mark McLernon. Winrow will be aiming to clinch a record breaking 14th British Championship over the three 25 minute races and confirm his status as the nation’s most successful ever quad racer. A team competition between the four home nations will also reach a climax at the event with Ireland leading England by just nine points.

In this action packed programme there will also be solo Motocross action featuring some of the best riders from the South East of England, current champion Dave Williams will be trying to fend off those pesky youngsters with “no fear” including Danny Arnold and Mitchell Lewis (Jnr).

Practice starts at 09.00 hrs with the first race starting immediately after practice has finished around 10.45.
