British Motorcycle Racing Club's 2014 season starts on the 5-6 April at Brands Hatch

Tuesday March 18, 2014 at 1:23pm
A packed programme of racing action will kick off the British Motorcycle Racing Club's 2014 season, with the opening round set for the weekend of 5-6 April at Brands Hatch.

Using the Indy layout of the historic Kentish circuit, 10 classes will be in action over the course of the weekend, including the highly-competitive MRO Minitwin series, which will see a whole host of riders competing for top honours, after reigning champion Luke Harris moved on to the Team Respro MRO 600 championship.

Alongside the Minitwins and 600s will be the Morello Services MRO Powerbikes, along with the new year's rookie 600 and 1000s.

For a two-stroke fix, the 2-Stroke GP Series and BMZRC 250 MZ championships will kick off the season, and the EDIasia Formula 400s, RKB F1 and F2 Sidecars, National Junior Cup and newly formed Senior 300 series will take to the circuit at the opening round. The British F2 Sidecar championship will guest at the meeting, too.
