It is with sadness that we have to report the President of the SACU, Robbie Allan has passed away after battling illness for some months. Robbie was a motorcycling legend, an amazingly versatile competitor and a huge force of energy in all aspects of motorcycle sport in Scotland. As well as the SACU office, the SACU board and the member clubs in Scotland, the ACU will feel his absence keenly and send their condolences to Robbie’s family.
Brian Higgins, the ACU Chairman commented “This is very sad news indeed, Robbie played a big part in motorcycle sport, particularly in Scotland and was hugely influential. He will be sadly missed”.
