On Sunday the Club replanned many parts of the course in readiness for the final event in the British Ladies and Girls Championship. Isle of Wight multi champion Becky Cook won the day for Beta UK in what was a final section effort from Emma Bristow. Class A was dominated by Nikita Smith Silsden’s Danielle Whitham did not compete due to an injury. Hannah Richardson took the Class B championship but Bristol teenager Victoria Payne ruled at Tong on Sunday beating the Richmond girl by three penalties. Gabby Whitham did compete and won the Class C championship. The Silsden schoolgirl has won five out of the six events this year. On Saturday Shrewsbury girl Alice Minta was the class act with a mere three penalties lost for the entire three lap twelve section course. A new face arrived on the scene when Hanna Vesterinen rode a 272 cc Bultaco prepared by her father Yrjo Vesterinen who won the world trials championship from 1976 to 1978.
