The bike in question is a Slocombes BSA C15 1962 Registration is NMD 608, frame number C15S 3316, and original engine number C15S 3038.
Duncan has been in touch with Dennis Driver, who comfirmed that Mary Driver rode a very similar looking bike in 1962 in the ISDT in Germany. The bike she rode was Registration NMD 607. Mary rode a BSA C15 in 1961, but the Reg on that bike was 905 IMF, and later in 1963 she rode a Greeves.
If Mary Driver didn't ride that machine then who did ?
Maybe someone knows if Slocombes has any history of the bikes, and who they sponsored in 1962. Alternatively if any one knows of any history of trials in the UK or abroad, or who rode what machine, in 1962, it would be greatly appreciated.
