Successful weekend at Farleigh Castle
This weekend the 2011 Veterans Motocross Des Nations took place at the famous venue of Farleigh Castle in front of a large crowd of excited fans. With two days of top class racing featuring some of the biggest names in motocross from the past and present.

With 10 different classes, each competing in four races over the duration of the two days. Saturday’s event saw a number of Pro Riders competing in the EVO 250 classes, including Brad Anderson, Kristian Whatley and Gordon Crockard.

Victories in each of the classes went to Rikki Priest (Evo 125), John May (Evo 250), Alfie Smith (Evo 500), Keith Rice (Over 40’s Twinshock), Yan Geboers (Over 50’s Twinshock), Lance Marshall (France Vs England), Daniel Hiorns (4 stroke) Carl Pope (Pre 85), Ed Bradley (Under 40’s Twinshock), Phil Mercer (Vets International Modern) and Werner De Witt (VMXdN)

The main excitement of the weekend was focused on the team event and it was the Twinshock UK team that took the overall honour’s ahead of JMB Belgium and team USA in third.
