2nd Round of the Colin Appleyard British Solo Trials Championship

20 year old Michael Brown won the second round, repeating his Kinlcohleven victory just 7 days prior to the major Welsh qualifying round. Significantly, reigning British Champion Graham Jarvis finished in 2nd place just 8 points behind the Scarborough winner.

Lynton reigning Expert Champion Joe Baker won his Class ahead of 17 year old Yorkshireman Jack Challoner. They share the title lead from Ben Hemingway. Welsh expert Gary Jenkins was placed 10th after a close battle  with rival Liam Walker and Chris Pearson. 

16 year old Richmond schoolboy Jonathan Richardson won the Non-Championship Youth class from Kinlcohleven event winner Jonny Walker.

The trial took place in good weather conditions. 

The Championship series remains in South Wales and will be staged by the East South Wales Centre on May 25th and run under the old established Mitchell Trial title.
