An “excelent” number of competitors – says the Organization committee of the 2007 ISDE- will gather the upcoming month of November at the historic city of La Serena.
The first rider to start will be the Finnish, Jari Mattila.
Even though there were more than 580 pre-registrations, there were almost 60 riders that didn’t comply with the date limits established by the Particular Rules of the event, therefore being excluded from this planetary appointment. Besides this, 521 riders its an ideal number considering the rate at which each motorcycle will pass through each race circuit of the IV Region (maps are already available on the webpage, as well as the list of riders and the technical/administrative verifications).
There are 30 countries, with 20 adult teams; 15 junior teams; 5 women’s club (Sweden, France, USA, Germany and Chile); 104 clubs and 20 individual riders.
According to our records, there are over 150 journalists, photographers, camera-men, and press staff that will be starting next week in Serena Golf and the rest of the IV Region.
