European Championship success

European Supermoto rider and Senior Team member of the Supermoto of Nations squad, Chris Hodgson, aged 19 finished his season with his best result of the year.  After securing his first overall win in the ES-3 European Supermoto Championship, with a Race win and a 4th place at the previous Round in Busca, Italy, Chris stormed to a double victory at Megara, Nr Athens, Greece on 20th/21st October 2007, taking him to 4th place in the Final Championship Standings.

In the ES Open European Supermoto Championship class, fellow Supermoto of Nations Team member, Richard Blakeman, aged 21, was another ACU Licence holder who saved his best race result for the final Round, finishing the first Heat in second, backed up by a 7th in Heat 2, giving him 4th Overall at the event and finishing 7th in the Final standings.  Fellow ACU licence holder William Moore, aged 20, supported Richard, finishing both races in 8th place, once more his best results, 19th in Final Standings.

At the Final Round of the European Road Race Championship at Cartagena, Spain on 21st October 2007, Luke Mossey, aged 15, competed in his first GP 125 European Championship meeting, securing victory and finishing the 5 Round Championship in 9th place after entering just the one Round.

Further success at the meeting was achieved in the second GP class, the 250’s with Toby Markham, 19, also ending his European campaign on a high note, with the second ACU victory of the event.  The win lifted Markham to 4th place in the Final standings after achieving a 5th and 2 x 6th places at previous Rounds.  The 2007 Replicast UK BikeSport News British 250 Champion, Lee Dickinson, 34 and Luke Lawrence, 28 were also at the event, securing 10th and 12th places respectively.
