The ACU-Dunlop Tyres MotoStar Cup Classes are: - ∗ Sports Production 80cc open to riders aged…a new addition to MotoStar which will run as part of the Motrac Racing Sports Production 125 class. The class has been created specifically for 80cc Derbi, Jawa and Conti bikes running 17” wheels and treaded tyres. The perfect first step for budding Nicky Haydens! ∗ Motrac Racing Sports Production 125cc (commonly known as Formula 125). Including the Derbi Go Race package which provides the opportunity to purchase a Derbi GPR125RR as part of a Race Package. Open to riders aged at least 12yrs and under 19 yrs of age at 01.03.07, this class provides anyone with a Production based 125 bike a chance to prove their skill on an unrivalled selection of venues, including the all new Anglesey GP track! ∗ 125GP including the Colin Appleyard ACU Academy Cup. GP125cc is open to riders of at least 13 yrs of age. ACU Academy Cup will run only stock Grand Prix 125 machines and will be one of the Youth Development Classes. Open to riders at least 13 yrs of age and not over 18 yrs of age. The Academy Cup class has been created to for those youngsters who want to prove that winning isn’t about the bike! If you want to be a GP star and have the talent to do it, the 125GP Academy cup, with everyone on equal machinery will provided you with the platform to showcase your talent. And you get the full support and advice from former British Champions and GP racers – free of charge! ∗ Replicast UK/Bikesport News 250GP – The 250 British Championship is back!! Riders must be at least 16 yrs of age for this official British 250 race series. Will you be the new 250GP British Champion in 2007. Wild card Grand Prix places will be selected from this class. With 46 riders registered already, this class is going to be RED HOT! ∗?Sport Production class for bikes up to 1000cc. Essentially Superstocks on slicks. For this BIG BIKE class, riders must be at least 16 yrs of age. With wild card rides in UEM and European Superstock chosen from this class, as well as possible rides for next season in Europe, this is a MUST DO for anyone with a passion for four stroke racing. ∗?Yokohama F2 Sidecar Championship in association with the FSRA. Drivers must be at least 17 years of age, passengers must be at least 16 yrs of age. Established and popular, the ‘chairs’ will be back in force in 2007 MotoStar ∗?Suzuki GSX-R Trophy series in association with Crescent Suzuki, Giving a unique opportunity to experience a full seasons racing on a Japanese Supersport class bike for a one off fee of £12,040 including VAT. And you keep the bike and leathers at the end of the season!! Riders must be at least 16 yrs of age. There will be an Under 23 yrs of age Class and an Open Class. In addition to the eligibility requirements for each class riders must comply with the Age/Machine restrictions in the 2007 ACU Handbook. Another extremely popular class, at least half of the ‘Gixxer’ field are new to racing so there may well be some surprises in store for the established ‘fast lads’, as the new boys seek to make a name for themselves. ACU Academy… Riders registered for the 80cc, 125 Sport Production, 125 Grand Prix and GSX-R Trophy are automatically entered into the ACU Academy. The Academy will host FREE seminars on diet, fitness, sports psychology as well as free track time with coaching from the likes of Mike ‘Spike’ Edwards, Matt Llewellyn, Steve Sawford and Nigel Bosworth.
