Harry Hemingway came within a single mark of beating Toni Bou at this year’s X-Trial Leeds. On Saturday 23 January 2027, he returns to the First Direct Bank Arena with the home crowd behind him - and another chance to take the top step.
But Bou will be determined to defend his Leeds victory, and he is far from Harry’s only challenger. Last year’s third-place finisher Jaime Busto will be looking to climb the podium, while Gabriel Marcelli, Matteo Grattarola, Arnau Farré and Miquel Gelabert bring plenty of competition. Add brother George Hemingway to the mix, and the Yorkshire crowd will have two home favourites to roar on.
With half the sections entirely new for 2027, all eight riders will have fresh hazards to master. Every mark could matter, and after this year’s finish, Leeds knows just how close the battle can be.
You can get a feel for that challenge before the competition even begins. Full Access opens at 2pm, giving you time to explore Trial Expo, visit the paddock and preview the course from floor level. Stand beside the sections, take in their scale, then watch how the World’s best tackle them when the main event starts at 5pm.
From getting close to the bikes and teams to cheering on the Hemingway brothers, make a day of it in Leeds - and be there to see who comes out on top.
