They should be under-21 on 1
st November 2025. (See Rules). Success in the last year is important but performance over previous years will be considered. The Judges remain interested in work done at club level and in the community as well as on the National/International stage.
Last year’s winner was George Hemingway FIM Trial 3 World Champion, Junior European Champion and Trial 2 British Champion.. The Judges were particularly impressed by his willingness to help in training young talent together with commitment to assist in supporting organisation of Trials at all levels.
George’s response on learning that he had won the Pinhard Trophy was “"I feel very honoured to receive such a prestigious award, following in the footsteps of my older brother Harry, who won back in 2021. 2025 was a very successful year for me and my team, and I’m very grateful to have the opportunity to travel the world while still being able to do the sport I love. I was also able to help the youth riders in my local club through training days. I would like to thank the Yeadon and Guiseley Motor Club for making me the rider I am. And also a special mention to all my sponsors and family for the support I received throughout the year"
Previous winners are an honours roll of motorcycling greats over the last 70 years who have excelled in all spheres of the sport including Mike Hailwood, Jeff Smith, Roy Peplow, Dan Shorey, Alexz Wigg and a host of others who have gone on to be national and international household names.
