The 2026 Motul ACU British Motocross Championship reaches its conclusion at Blaxhall Circuit, Suffolk, on Sunday 27 September, as Woodbridge & DMCC welcomes the country’s leading riders for the final round.
After seven rounds, championship positions remain at stake across a strong entry featuring current contenders, established front runners and former champions.
MX1 Title Fight Heads to Blaxhall
At the head of the MX1 standings is Conrad Mewse, who arrives at Blaxhall holding a 26-point advantage over Spain's Oriol Oliver, with Ben Watson a further 13 points behind in third. Mewse arrives after extending his lead with a double race victory at Duns. With 50 points available across two races, Oliver and Watson can still influence the final championship order.
Behind them, Taylor Hammal, Tristan Purdon and Tom Grimshaw lead a deep field that also includes Adam Sterry, Ben Edwards, Jamie Carpenter and Bobby Bruce.
Former two-time British MX1 Champion and Grand Prix rider Evgeny Bobryshev adds further experience as a wildcard for the finale.
MX2 Provides Plenty of Interest Charlie Heyman has already secured the 2026 MX2 Championship, but the finale retains plenty of interest. Suffolk-based Elliott Banks-Browne, a two-time British MX2 Champion and former Grand Prix racer, returns to MXGB action at his home circuit.
Gyan Doensen, Ben Mustoe, Tommy Searle, Joe Brookes, Billy Askew, Charlie Richmond, Jamie Keith and Joel Rizzi will seek strong finishes. Dutch rider Cas Valk, the 2024 British MX2 Champion, adds further international pedigree.
Drew Stock, newly crowned RFX 125cc Champion, steps up to MX2 at Blaxhall, offering spectators an early look at him against established riders on the larger machinery.
MX125 Championship Battle Adds Youthful Excitement
The MX125 class will also bring an important championship contest to Blaxhall, with the country’s leading young two-stroke riders aiming to finish the season on a high. Drew Stock established himself as the early benchmark with four wins from the opening four races, while Harley Marczak emerged as his nearest challenger. Although Stock now steps up to MX2 as the newly crowned RFX 125cc Champion, the class remains a key showcase for developing talent, with valuable final-round points and championship positions still to be settled behind him.
A Full Day of Championship Action
With the MX1 positions undecided, former champions joining both headline classes and Stock making his MX2 debut, Blaxhall is set for a fitting conclusion to the 2026 season. Gates open at 7:30am, with practice and qualifying from 8:45am and the first race at 12 noon. Six championship races are scheduled during the afternoon.
Advance tickets are available through Eventbrite, with admission also available at the gate. Prices are £25 for adults, £5 for children aged 5–15 and £55 for a family ticket; children under five enter free.
