t’s all hail the Vale as Oxford speedway youngster Ashton Vale became the first rider since Andy Phillips back in 1988 to win an ACU British Grasstrack Championship double title. At Shipley, West Sussex on Sunday, Ashton not only retained his 250cc solo crown but also added a 350cc title to his roll of honour! There was also 1,000cc left-hand sidecars going for ACU British Championship glory, and in that class the 2024 title winners Danny Hill/Callum Ray were at it again by scoring a 2026 title success.
