The Formula Grasstrack Association kicked off its 2026 season on Saturday 18th April with a fantastic meeting at Ledbury. With a perfectly prepared track and great weather conditions, it was an ideal start to the year.
Formula Grasstrack continues to showcase an excellent pathway for young riders, offering youth classes starting from as young as 4 years old in the eBike category, progressing all the way up to 125cc machines.
The eBike class welcomed two exciting newcomers—4-year-old Oscar South and 6-year-old Hadlee Jones—both putting in impressive performances. Racing across all classes was competitive and entertaining, including the adult 125cc category.
Female representation was strong, with three riders competing:
* Lillie-Mai Warwick (Cubs) delivered a brilliant 5th place in her first full meeting
* Jessica Cox (Juniors) impressed throughout the day, finishing 2nd in the final after battling with her older brother
* Sue Dowling (Adults) also competed strongly
